For those that like the High St brands then Oxford St is perfect for you. As one of the world’s most famous shopping streets, you will want to give this a visit with many flagship stores offering a unique shopping experience.
Carnaby Street is another London institution that is must. Although it is not quite the swinging 60s it still has some great stores along the street and side streets attached.
For a great shopping experience that combines some great brands as well as some exciting independents and market stalls. We would recommend trying to get down near Christmas because the lights are great. You will also be treated to some great busking and carol singers so it is worth a visit.
London can be expensive but there are some bargains to be had. If you find deals on accommodation and travel before you even get there you will be able to put that towards your spending money for hitting the shops.
You can also save money when you are there by walking everywhere that you go. Plan out where you are going then work out the best ways to get about, the benefit of walking is that you will undoubtedly find some great shops on your travels that you would never have found by taking the tube.
London is definitely the most versatile city in the UK as far as shopping goes and it is up there as one of the best locations in Europe too.
